Frequently Asked Questions

Clinical-Related FAQs

What is SanitizeIT solution?

Most advanced and safest hospital-grade disinfectant on the market. It’s 7 solutions in 1, including a cleaner, sanitizer, and odor-eliminator. It’s EPA registered and NSF certified. Our solution is non-reactive, non-corosive, non-caustic, non-flammable and has no residue or by-product.

What does SanitizeIT solution kill?

It kills 30+ bacteria and viruses. Including 99.999% of those causing MRSA, STAPH, EColi, Hepatitus A, B & C, Norovirus and more.

What’s in SanitizeIT solution?

It’s made up of Chlorine Dioxide or ClO2. Don’t be confused, this solution does NOT have bleach, ammonia or chlorine in it. The Chlorine Dioxide molecule has one chlorine atom and two oxygen atoms. This combination creates a molecular-free radical - a magnetic-like attraction that seeks out electron donors and selectively oxidizes harmful bacteria and mold.

How does SanitizeIT solution work?

In the Chlorine Dioxide state, it is more selective than Chlorine. It chooses what to react with. It doesn’t react with organic compounds or proteins. It remains as a dissolved gas searching nooks and crannies for chemical molecules it can eradicate. By stealing electrons from the targeted cells, SanitizeIT oxidizes the molecular bonds resulting in the death of the organism. Mold, mildew, allergens, bacteria, viruses, and odorous moleculars are, in effect, zapped to death. Their core is destroyed and that’s why the odor does not return or the germ or the allergen.

What is the difference between a ‘food contact sanitizer’ and a ‘nonfood contact sanitizer?

A food contact sanitizer, at a minimum, reduces the level of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli by 99.999% on a food contact surface within one minute. A potable water rinse is not allowed after sanitization of a food contact surface. A non-food contact sanitizer, at a minimum, reduces the level of Staphylococcus aureus and Klebsiella pneumonia or Enterobacter aerogenes by 99.9% on non-food contact surfaces within 5 minutes.

Can this help with my allergies?

YES! Santize Guyz services can offer effective allergy relief from the usual suspects in the home, office, auto and HVAC systems. Our solution kills dust mites, pollen spores, pet dander, cockroach allergens and more. For best results, we recommend a preventative, once-a-month HVAC spray for effective relief because allergens are reintroduced on a daily basis.

What is the benefit of HVAC air duct spray service?

If you’re wanting to treat the elimination of odors, spraying the HVAC air ducts is paramount. Odor-causing bacteria and allergens become trapped in the duct system, therefore allowing it to spread to other rooms in your home. The HVAC spraying service is a must if you’re wanting to kill dust mites, pollen spores, pet dander or cockroach allergens.

Do I need to put anything away or open anything?

No, you will not need to put anything away. The SanitizeIT solution does not leave any film or residue behind. It’s a registered food contact surface sanitizer. And yes, you should open any drawers or cabinets that you would like to be sanitized.

How long will it take to sanitize my home or business?

Allow 30 minutes per 2,000 square feet, along with 10 minutes for drying time.

How often should I use your service?

Based on the amount of dirt, grime and dust accumulates. The frequency of general cleaning can be adjusted from daily, to weekly, to monthly. Sanitizing and disinfection procedure frequency is based on regulatory requirements for the application at hand, i.e. food service or healthcare type applications.

When do I pay and what forms of payment do you accept?

Remittance of payment is accepted at the completion of your satisfactory service. We accept PayPal, Venmo, and all major credit and debit cards.
